We are so proud of our client, laV Restaurant & Wine Bar. After a whirlwind trip to New York City in early May to cook at Food & Wine’s Chefs Club, the national recognition and praise has been non-stop.
Wine Enthusiast profiled laV in its August issue, naming the restaurant one of its 100 Best Wine Restaurants in the US.
On the heels of that, laV has also taken home an award from Wine Spectator. In the latest issue, mailed to subscribers this week and on stands soon, laV was awarded a Best of Award of Excellence from the industry leading publication. That’s the 2nd level award (out of 3) and the highest level the restaurant is eligible for in its first year.
This past Sunday, the restaurant and its Director of Wine, Vilma Mazaite was profiled in the New York Times Sunday Styles The article, “In Austin, One Sweet Sommelier Shares the Gospel of Good Wine” focuses on laV’s wine program and Vilma.
Additionally, people are noticing the talent behind laV’s great food. Case and point: Executive Pastry Chef Janina O’Leary’s profile as an “Everyday Master” by Latina Magazine online:
