As the agency of record for the Austin-based Hai Hospitality, formerly Uchi Restaurant Group, our focus has always been to tell the Uchi story through the food, the service and the culture, led by celebrated James Beard Award–winning Chef Tyson Cole. With dishes that delight, amaze and inspire; design that is innovative and welcoming; and passion that ignites careers and promotes longevity, Uchi continues to be an industry leader.

We led the charge for widespread international coverage that focuses on the talent, the menu and the expertise of the team that has sustained positive buzz for the brand for more than 12 years, as well as successfully launching new restaurants in Houston and in Dallas. Recognition in notable outlets through the years range from mentions to four-part features in diverse outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, Saveur, Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure, Daily Meal, Serious Eats, Time Out, Texas Monthly, Vice Munchies and beyond.

Cultivate also launched Hai Hospitality’s social media presence in 2007 and continues to lead strategy and planning for all of its channels as they’ve grown to millions of social impressions. Woven into the integrated planning is a grassroots strategy that employs field marketing and events for a holistic approach with a creative and authentic voice.
