Sam Davidson began her career in public relations and marketing in 1989 after receiving a BA in Art History from Baylor University. After holding positions at PBS affiliate KERA in Dallas, Rovillo Design Associates and May & Co., the March of Dimes in Dallas and Austin, she found her way to New York in 1998, where the roots of restaurant, design, and lifestyle PR and marketing firmly took hold.
As an account executive for Susan Becher Public Relations, Sam worked with high profile clients Waterworks, Brunshwig & Fils, Jim Thompson Thai Silks and Source Perrier. She then moved on to work with award winning mid-size agency Peppercom and the highly regarded boutique lifestyle firm, Clifford Public Relations, as a senior account executive.
Once in Austin, Sam accepted a position as Event Director for the Austin Film Society directing events such as the Texas Film Hall of Fame in 2002 and 2003, The Spy Kids 3 premiere, and Dazed and Confused 10 Year Reunion (which was rad).
Sam started working for Central Austin Management Group (CAMG) in 2004, working on marketing campaigns and media outreach for in-house clients Uchi, Ace Tailors, and Lavaca Street Bar, among others. In 2008, Sam and her team expanded to take on new clients as an agency, Cultivate PR, while remaining a part of CAMG. This exciting development is the realization of her dream to work with clients of the highest quality and a team of extremely talented, smart, and fun people.
